Our Founder
For more than 20 years, Sunnie has worked in New York City as a celebrity hair stylist. With clients including Kelly Rowland, Miley Cyrus, Melanie Fiona & more, she would often use hair pins and other hair accessories to create memorable looks that appear on the grammy red carpet, the MTV awards, campaigns and other ads.
After the birth of her son, Sunnie embarked on a spiritual journey as her desire to have a greater impact on the world grew. Ignited by a backpacking trip through Africa with her then 4- year-old, Sunnie was clear her purpose was to inspire women to express their powerful nature.
Sunnie, inspired by earth's element of pearl and gold encapsulates these influences & expresses it through hair accessories giving birth to the Sanctioned brand.

Meet Frances! Head Coach & Director, HQ Tennis LLC
Coach Frances Nadine Ferdinand, is the founder of HQ Tennis LLC and HQ Tennis Foundation. Growing up in Brooklyn, Ferdinand’s mother struggled to find affordable tennis programs and often ended up paying very high rates for quality lessons. Frances recently returned from London where she received her Masters in Sports Management from the University of East London, and a Level II coaching certificate from the LTA.
It's more apparent than ever that people are the key to shaping the future. We are thrilled to announce that a portion of every purchase will go to the HQ Tennis Foundation, an inspiring nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers in tennis and providing access to high-quality lessons through scholarships and resources for youth from diverse backgrounds. Together, we’re championing self-expression, community, and empowerment on and off the court. With financial assistance for families in need and scholarships for young, passionate players, HQ Tennis Foundation offers youth the opportunity to express themselves, build connections, and grow into tomorrow’s leaders.

Produced by global artisans, balance is captured with pearl, gold, colorful crystals, and seasonal textiles reminiscent of earth's elements.
